Counseling Adult Survivors of Childhood Abuse (2 days)

Participants will be presented with a clear therapeutic framework for working with adult survivors of childhood abuse - physical, emotional or sexual. This framework is based on the principles of Transactional Analysis.
Participants will learn to:
- Identify the ways in which the different ego states of the client were damaged by experience(s) of abuse.
- Involve the client in the healing process.
- Empower their clients to improve their intra- and interpersonal functioning.
- Counsel adult survivors of childhood abuse how to have more skill and confidence.
Clients who have worked through this process with Yvonne almost always show remarkably enhanced functioning and coping skills.
