Introduction to Transactional Analysis (2 days)
What is Transactional Analysis (TA)?
TA is an internationally established school of thought in Psychology that addresses the following aspects of personality theory:
- The structure of personality.
- The functioning of personality.
- The development of personality.
- Interpersonal communication.
- Handling of conflict
- Psychopathology.
This two day workshop is an introduction to the concepts used in TA. (The development of personality and psychopathology will not be covered in this basic workshop).
What will you learn?
- To have a better understanding of your own and others' unique personalities.
- Why people sometimes repeatedly act in a way that sabotages their own best interests.
- To identify personal growth areas and to find ways to develop your personal potential.
- To identify personal and interpersonal problem areas, and to learn new ways of handling it.

- Any individual who wishes to learn more about her/himself, and who wants to improve his/her people skills.
- Informal counsellors such as pastors, ministers and teachers.
- Professionals who wish to add a practical knowledge of TA to their skills.
