General Workshop Information
TIRA Accreditation
The Traumatic Incident Reduction Association of America (TIRA) will issue certificates to successful attendees of TIR, EA and LSR workshops. (These are recognized in many European and American countries.)
The National Registry of Evidence Based Practices (NREPP) which is a service of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration (SAMHSA) in the USA acknowledges Traumatic Incident Reduction (TIR) as one of the accepted and effective techniques to address Trauma and PTSD in USA war veterans.
Pre-requisites
TIR is a pre-requisite for doing the EA, LSR and TIR for Children workshops.
TA is a prerequisite for doing the Adult Survivors workshop.
The Adult Survivors of Childhood Abuse workshop is only presented to counsellors, psychologists and pastors. All other workshops are open to anyone.
Times, refreshments & workshop materials
Workshops are presented from 8h30 to 16h00 every day.
Tea and coffee are provided.
Workshop materials are provided.
Payments, deposits & discounts
A deposit of R1000 per attendee is required two weeks before the start of the workshop to confirm your booking. If the workshop is cancelled within a week before the workshop, the deposit will be retained against a subsequent workshop.
