Life Stress Reduction Workshop (3 Days)
What is Life Stress Reduction (LSR)?
Life Stress Reduction is, like Traumatic Incident Reduction, another Metapsychology approach. It is a way of helping a client (again called a “viewer”) to make an organized exploration of his/her mental environment so that he/she can face and deal with it piece by piece. It is intended to address and resolve emotionally charged scenes, situations, incidents, issues and individuals that are distressing to the client. This work allows clients to systematically inspect the past and become more able to engage effectively in the present.
Like all other Metapsychology methods, the client chooses which issues s/he wants to focus on and the trained facilitator provides guidelines in a safe environment in order that the viewer can do his/her work at his/her own pace. You will, once again, be pleasantly surprised at how effective the outcome is in most situations in a relatively short time.
The LSR Workshop
The LSR workshop is presented over three days. Having completed the TIR workshop is a prerequisite. Like the TIR workshop, the LSR is taught in a very interactive way, using DVD’s and case studies to illustrate the theory and practical aspects of the work.
A certificate of attendance will be issued by Applied Metapsychology International in the USA.
Who will benefit from this workshop?
The workshop is open to people who have successfully completed a TIR workshop.
During these three days, valuable techniques will be added to the arsenal of skills of any counsellor/therapist.
Social workers, AFM and Dutch Reformed ministers will earn CPD points.
